ATTENTION We have taken your feedback into consideration and have made enhancements to our Online Banking and Bill Pay systems for your convenience. Enhancements will be effective November 15, 2008. Online Banking If you haven't signed up for online statements yet, you will be able to sign-up online through Online Banking. Remember, you will receive $5 per account (up to $25) for each statement you enroll in online statements.* Please remember you must log in to your Online Banking account every 90 days. Otherwise, for your protection, you will need to contact your local Western State Bank to have them reset your account. These actions are taken to protect your identity and follow guided procedures from the FDIC. Bill Pay Our new Bill Payment system offers an easy and convenient way for you to pay your bills, along with a complete history of previous bills paid. One major enhancement with the new system to note is when the money will be withdrawn from your account. Based on whether a Payee/Biller accepts electronic transactions, Western State Bank or our partnered service provider will process payments electronically, or via paper check sent through the U.S. Postal mail. When you set up a bill payment, the earliest possible "Pay Date" will automatically populate in that field. The earliest "Pay Date" available will depend on whether the biller is able to receive electronic payments or if a paper check will be sent. You may change that date to a future date if needed. The "Pay Date" is the date that the Payee/Biller receives the payment and the funds are withdrawn from your payment account. Recurring payments set-up in our previous Bill Pay system will automatically transition to the new system. Please review the Pay Date and make necessary changes to ensure your bill is received on time. We are excited about these changes and we anticipate that you will find it easier to navigate from one area to another within Online Banking.
